Anupam is an accomplished blues guitar player playing
the instrument since 1980. He is also a composer,
arranger and a trainer. Having made music for nearly 50
animation films, documentaries, albums etc, he is the first
to organize guitar education in North India under the banner
of Guitar Workshop. He has a considerable repertoire of his
recordings including a recent 200 song project. His
works have been exhibited and published internationally.
He has conducted music workshops for Baxter India,
Cairn Energy, Genpact, WWF, Reebok India, ITC WelcomHotel,
Hewlett-Packard Storage Works (India), Hewlett-Packard
Storage Works (Asia Pacific),UnitedHealth Group, Hewitt,
Airtel, EXL Service, Fullerton India, MetLife, Vodafone,
Pepsico Foods, Nivea amongst others. Mostly these workshops
focused on using music for aligning people and purpose.
Anupam began his career in shipping in mid 80s having worked
with agents of United States Lines INC, Regional Container
Lines Pte. Ltd, Bengal Tiger Line Gmbh for a period 11 years
till he decided to follow in heart in music.
He with his band The Karmic Circle was in the top 12 in
India at the Levi’s Great Indian Rock 2002 and a national
semi finalist in 1996.
Anupam has been covered considerably in media for his works
and contribution i.e. Washington Bangla Radio, NDTV, Star
News amonst others besides being covered as a case study in
Germany by a leading audio branding journal.
He is an avid traveler, photographer, cook and a
writer working on a bi lingual album and a short film. |
