Avik
is a high energy facilitator who has expertise in
Personality Type Theories, Performance enhancement tools,
Culture transformation and Energizing the whole system
for exponential growth. He has been a facilitator and
corporate trainer since 2004. His background in Theater adds
a powerful impact to his facilitation style and create a
dynamic learning environment. He learned theater from Badal
Sircar, his grandfather, and joined his troupe and performed
for 8 years all across India when he was 14 years old. He
has taken theater workshops on self development for various
schools and colleges. He had directed plays for Mayo College
and IP College
He conducts programs in the areas of Team Effectiveness,
Leadership Development, Creativity and problem solving and
large group interventions using Appreciative Inquiry and
has also conducted induction programs for IMT Ghaziabad, MDI
and IIM Lucknow. He is a trained Executive Coach from Coach
For Life and has been coaching people since 2009.
As a facilitator, his style is high on energy, involvement
and engagement. He is equally adept in a classroom and in
the outdoors and has worked with GETs as well as with people
who have more that 25 years of professional experience. Avik
brings the elements of coaching for effectively helping the
participants find the right answer for themselves and take
action on them. He also does keynote and motivational
speaking at conferences and events and has been invited to
speak on TED on “Out of the Box Awesomeness”.

Before becoming a full time facilitator, he has worked with
Oberois, Mercedes Benz and as Head of Editorial Sales
(India) for a picture stock agency which represents Corbis.
He also did photojournalism and worked with Telegraph and
had a column on ‘Extreme Sports’. He has done projects for
National Geographic Society, Bread and Puppet theatre,
Reuters and Tehelka.
