Damini
is an individual/organizational development enthusiast. At
ODA, she works in the capacity of an OD consultant,
facilitator and executive coach. She also likes to ideate
for and write in ODA’s various internal publications. Her
specialized skills include leadership development,
organization culture & transformation and executive
coaching.
In the corporate arena she has worked on leadership
development interventions with Airtel and Vodafone. She has
also conducted organizational transformation interventions
with Steria, ING Vysya, Manipal Group, Apollo International,
Max Life Insurance, Ranbaxy and Mercer. She has undertaken
coaching assignments for Novartis Group and MSD. Within
corporate education, she has facilitated 9.9 Media’s Young
India Fellowship program and has been a guest faculty member
for a program for Pepsico at the Management Development
Institute (MDI).
In the social sector arena she has undertaken organizational
transformation work at Alliance India which is the Indian
NGO part of an international network of NGOs that work on
the cause of HIV AIDS. She also leads a project where ODA
has partnered with CBSE as an agency to impart capacity
building on the theme “Leadership and Effective School
Management” across 13,500 schools affiliated to CBSE board
in its 8 regional jurisdictions across India.
Damini has completed a summer school course in ‘Management,
Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership’ jointly offered by
London School of Economics and Peking University in Beijing,
China. She gained her coach certification from the ICF-accredited,
USA-based school ‘Coach for Life’ and has been trained by
master coach Peter Reding. Prior to this, she completed her
Master’s degree in Culture Studies from the English and
Foreign Languages Institute (EFLU), Hyderabad.
Damini has had past experience in transformative work for
individuals and organizations in the social sector and has
worked for the cause of education, fundraising and social
impact measurement at UNICEF, Pratham, Oxfam and SKS
Microfinance.
On a personal level, Damini has developed a newfound passion
for Kathak, an Indian classical dance, and attends classes
whenever work allows her. Literature, travel, art, spiritual
movements and world cinema are other subjects close to her
heart. |
